    GMB was commissioned to design a new 3-story home for a local attorney in a prestigious neighborhood of Ocean City, Maryland. The site overlooks the Assawoman Bay inlet and commands an impressive view of the Ocean City skyline while being situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac.

    The 8,600 square foot house contains 3 garage bays, music room, exercise room, and workshop on the ground floor, a large gourmet kitchen, dining room, and the master bedroom with an expansive wraparound porch on the second floor, and four large bedrooms, each with a nice view of the inlet, on the third floor.

    A large foyer with a grand stairway greets visitors after they have ascended the large, ceremonial exterior stone stairway from street level. In addition, all 3 floors are served by a full-size elevator.

    Town of St. Michaels, MD

    In 2020, GMB completed a DNR funded Harbor and Stormwater Infrastructure Study for the Town of St Michaels. This valuable study projected the flooding and sea level rise by 2050 and then identified at risk areas and associated mitigation strategies for our main harbor and adjacent infrastructure. This was the valuable foundation the Town Commissioners needed for their planning and developed community awareness and support. Building on this study, the Town of St Michaels created the Climate Change/ Sea Level Rise Commission to pursue grants to implement these mitigation plans. Thanks to GMB’s study, the Town has been successful in pursuing grant funding.
