This project consists of a 2-story 5,142 SF addition to the Millville Municipal Town Hall building. The new addition houses three garage bays, a toilet room, and two interview rooms on the first floor, and two bunk rooms, full bathroom, kitchenette, and a 31-seat classroom for the Delaware State Police on the second floor. In addition, a vertical circulation link between the existing town hall and the new addition houses an egress stair and an elevator.

The completed HVAC work includes split system HVAC units with propane heat, propane Rinnai instant hot water system, connection to the Town sanitary, and a separate HVAC system for the elevator machine room. In addition, the work includes interior and exterior lighting and power systems, and full building emergency power system provided by a generator.

Town of St. Michaels, MD

In 2020, GMB completed a DNR funded Harbor and Stormwater Infrastructure Study for the Town of St Michaels. This valuable study projected the flooding and sea level rise by 2050 and then identified at risk areas and associated mitigation strategies for our main harbor and adjacent infrastructure. This was the valuable foundation the Town Commissioners needed for their planning and developed community awareness and support. Building on this study, the Town of St Michaels created the Climate Change/ Sea Level Rise Commission to pursue grants to implement these mitigation plans. Thanks to GMB’s study, the Town has been successful in pursuing grant funding.
