George, Miles & Buhr, LLC (GMB) provided architectural and engineering services to expand primary care services within the existing 10,000-square-foot facility for the Lower Shore Clinic. The approximately 5,000-square foot expansion includes therapy rooms, exam rooms, physician’s office, administrative offices, and miscellaneous support areas such as toilets, mechanical room, break room, conference room, and an enlarged common lobby in a centralized location to serve the existing mental health practice and the new primary care practice. Lower Shore Clinic offers outpatient and partial hospitalization care for adults with serious mental health illnesses.
GMB also conducted a feasibility study of re-roofing the flat roof section of the existing clinic with a new metal roof and roof superstructure to match the roof pitch and elevation of the rear metal building.
