George, Miles & Buhr, LLC designed a 7,500 square foot Police Headquarters Facility for the new Denton Police Department. The facility included several private offices, an officer’s muster, holding cells, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a sally port, armory and large and small evidence storage. Additional spaces included a break area on each floor, a file server room and a testing lab.
This is a two-story building with elevator and two stairwells. The exterior is finished in brick as the style, material and overall form was in keeping with a traditional nature. GMB provided full inspection services throughout the construction phase.
