GMB served as the design engineer for Cannery Village, a traditional neighborhood design community of single-family homes, duplexes, townhouses, condominiums, retail shops, and restaurants located in the heart of historic Milton, Delaware. The site design aims to re-create the small town streets and alleys of the larger town of Milton, a traditional coastal community. At full build-out, the development totals 538 residential units. The site also includes a 12,000-square-foot community club, with an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a spa, and gathering places for community social events.
GMB processed a number of revisions to the community’s Master Plan and represented the owner at Planning Commission and Town Council meetings. GMB’s engineering services included coordination with the surveyor, stormwater management plan, erosion and sediment control plan, on-site road design, water, and sewer design, DelDOT entrances, and overall site design planning.
