GMB is pleased to announce that we have received approval from The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) as a Technical Service Provider.
NFWF is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the preservation and protection of our nation’s wildlife habitats, species, and ecosystems. Locally, through the Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund, NFWF aims to “accelerate local implementation of the most innovative, sustainable and cost-effective strategies to restore and protect water quality and vital habitats within the Chesapeake Bay watershed.”
GMB is proud to partner with NFWF in the endeavor to restore and protect the Chesapeake Bay. GMB strives to be the leader in the design and stewardship of sustainable communities in the Chesapeake Bay and Coastal environments.
GMB can assist municipalities through the Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund with projects such as stormwater management retrofits, watershed planning, and resource conservation / restoration. GMB can also assist with nutrient credits in meeting the Chesapeake Bay TMDL and associated Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP) requirements.
Currently, GMB is working with the Towns of Laurel, Delaware and Bethel, Delaware to implement stormwater retrofit projects through the NFWF Program.
