GMB Project Named 2011 Top Water/Wastewater Project Winner

GMB is honored to have a project selected by Water & Wastes Digest (WWD) as a 2011 Top Water & Wastewater Project. The editorial staff of WWD chose to showcase GMB’s work with the City of Fruitland, Maryland on an Infiltration & Inflow Removal Project. The main goal of the project was to reduce Infiltration and Inflow that enters the sanitary sewer system through leaking brick manholes, pipe cracks, offset joints, and lateral to main connections. As a result of this project, the City immediately experienced lower flows and higher concentration wastewater at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
